Tracking the big five has never been this chic. You don’t rough it when you stay at Singita, or Royal Malewane or Phinda or the new Molori; these safari lodges are as exquisite and accessorized as penthouses in Paris and contain all of the modern conveniences. But all of this cosseting doesn’t detract from the power of seeing lions or cheetah or elephants roaming free across vast savannahs in Kruger or Mandikwe.
